We remain committed to our mission of empowering young people in rural Uganda with practical, life-changing skills that promote self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.
During this reporting period, we are pleased to share a key milestone achieved through support received outside the GlobalGiving platform. A total of 20 women were successfully trained in shoe making, an initiative specifically designed to equip them with income-generating skills to help eradicate poverty within their communities. The training focused on practical production techniques, enabling participants to start small-scale businesses and improve their household incomes.
This progress demonstrates the transformative impact of skills development when communities are given the right opportunities and support.
While we have not yet received donations through GlobalGiving, the project remains active and full of potential. We are encouraged by the progress made so far and remain hopeful that, with increased visibility, we can reach even more beneficiaries.
We kindly ask our supporters, partners, and well-wishers to continue sharing our project within your networks. Your support in spreading the word is vital in helping us reach more people, attract funding, and expand our impact.
Together, we can empower more individuals with the skills they need to build a better and more sustainable future.
