Thank you for your donations for this new Project. We are now supporting five young people that we first met when they were children living on the streets of Lubumbashi. Some of these children had stayed in the Kimbilio homes and others we helped to return to their families. We are paying their university fees so that they may fulfill their dreams by completing their degree courses and so be able to get good careers,
What a journey these young people are on, from living on the streets with little prospect of proper life ahead of them to being at university with the prospect of a good job ahead. We hope to be able to support more children take further education in the coming years.
The students help Kimbilio by volunteering at the Day Centre, where their experiences of being street children enable them to them to help those children arriving at the Day Centre.
