Dear Donors and Well Wishers,

Greetings from BPA!!

We hope this report finds you in good health and high spirits. The project has made significant progress, reaching out to previously unreached individuals. The project has had a positive impact on the lives of those who have lost limbs or have impairments due to accidents or congenital conditions. During this reporting period, the project team travelled to rural areas in Gujarat State and reached out to people in need. We are excited to share with you the story of Hemani, a young girl who lost her parents in a road accident. Hemani is a 13-year-old girl from the Kapadwanj area in Gujarat. When she was six years old, she was travelling with her parents on a bike. There was a fatal road accident with a bike, a truck had smashed the bike from the backside. She was unconscious, and immediately taken to the hospital, when she got consciousness, she learnt that she lost her parents in a road accident, and one leg was amputated. The relatives and villagers cursed her. Her grandparents took her custody and had a very good upbringing. But, she always had one complaint that she could not walk, run or even play with her friends in school, and the neighbourhood. She was depressed and lost happiness and a smile. After seven years of wait, she was told that she could walk again with artificial limbs. She was excited about artificial limbs. She was called for assessment, and explained about the limb, and how she could live independently again with limb. She was provided a good quality carbon footed artificial limb and she was very happy with the limb, and walked after seven years. She thanks everyone who supported her.

We have taken a mission to reach out unrreached through project, and spread happiness, and smiles on their faces. We request you join with us, and spread smiles and happiness.

We request you to contribute more to reach out more people, and also motivate others to contribute.
