Dear Donors,
Thank you for showing interest in the End Child Marriage in Nigeria with Girls Education project. At this stage, no financial contributions have been received, and the scholarship support for the girls has not yet started.
Across many communities in Nigeria, thousands of girls leave school before completing their education. Poverty and social pressure often push families to arrange early marriages for their daughters. Once a girl is married, she rarely returns to the classroom. This situation exposes many young girls to early pregnancies, health complications, and lifelong economic hardship.
When girls lose access to education, their chances of building independent and secure futures become very limited. The cycle continues as the next generation of girls faces similar pressures and limited opportunities. Families who struggle with poverty may see early marriage as the only option available.
This project plans to support the education of 10,000 girls across Nigeria, helping them remain in school from primary level through university. The program will cover tuition, uniforms, books, and basic school needs. Local coordinators will work closely with families and schools to monitor attendance and progress, helping confirm that the girls remain in class and continue their studies.
When girls stay in school, they gain knowledge, confidence, and practical skills that can shape their futures. Education also helps delay early marriage and improves health outcomes for young women and their future families.
We truly appreciate the attention and encouragement shown toward this initiative. The interest from supporters gives hope that more girls will soon receive the opportunity to continue their education and pursue brighter futures.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
