Sustainable Food Support for Children in Indonesia

By Aisyah Zardi | Global Digital Acquisition

ASAR Humanity continues its commitment to providing essential support for nonprofit boarding schools across Indonesia. Recently, we delivered food aid to RTQ Al Abrar Boarding School in Desa Nipa-nipa, Bantaeng, South Sulawesi, ensuring that students and staff have access to nutritious meals. The food packages included rice, eggs, cooking oil, flour, chicken, tempeh, and other essentials—helping to strengthen the students' health and resilience as they dedicate themselves to learning.

Beyond immediate food assistance, ASAR Humanity has been actively supporting over 50 nonprofit boarding schools, addressing their needs for food, clean water, school supplies, and other basic necessities. However, we recognize that long-term sustainability is key to empowering these institutions.

To achieve this, we have launched a Sustainable Food Support Program, which includes our Sustainable Fish Pond Project. This initiative teaches school leaders how to cultivate fish, providing a continuous food supply and reducing their dependence on external aid. By equipping them with the knowledge and resources to produce their own food, we are fostering self-sufficiency and long-term food security for these schools.

With your support, we can expand this initiative to reach more schools in need. Join us in building a future where no student has to worry about hunger. Together, we can create a lasting impact by not only feeding the poor but also empowering them with the skills to sustain themselves.

Thank you for being a part of this mission. Let’s ensure that no one is left hungry!
