In Ebonyi State, 1 in 3 children suffers from malnutrition, leaving them weak, sick, and unable to learn. Rising food prices and poverty make daily meals scarce for vulnerable families. This project will provide nutritious meals, supplements, and monitoring to 1,500 children, giving them the energy and health needed to grow, stay in school, and thrive.
Many children in Ebonyi State suffer from malnutrition caused by poverty, food scarcity, and lack of nutritious meals at home. Malnourished children are more prone to illness, stunted growth, and poor school performance. Families struggling with rising costs cannot provide the nutrition children need, leaving 1,500 vulnerable children at serious risk of health and educational setbacks.
This project will provide daily nutritious meals, vitamins, and monitoring to 1,500 children most at risk of malnutrition. Working with schools, community volunteers, and caregivers, we will ensure children receive regular meals and health checks. Nutritional support will improve their immunity, energy levels, and ability to learn while reducing the risk of illness caused by malnutrition.
Children who receive proper nutrition are healthier, more active, and able to stay in school. This project will reduce malnutrition rates in Ebonyi, improve learning outcomes, and prevent long-term health problems. Communities benefit when children grow strong, healthy, and ready to contribute positively, breaking cycles of poverty and poor health that affect future generations.
