Hello,

We wanted to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your support of Jake’s Network of Hope’s project, "End Period Poverty and Give Girls Hope." Thanks to you, we are able to make positive change in our community.

Still, the need remains urgent.

Per the Alliance for Period Supplies, 1 in 4 students who menstruate faced period poverty in 2023. In fact, period poverty is the number one reason girls miss school, making them miss out on their education and can have long-term detrimental effects on their future. Period poverty forces those impacted to miss out on daily life, causing feelings of shame and isolation.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Each box of pads or tampons we distribute through our On the Dot program offers more than just hygiene - it provides dignity, confidence, and a chance to fully participate in life. In 2024, our team took big strides to fight period poverty in our community, helping over 7,200 people in need – but with 2 in 5 still struggling to afford period products, there’s so much more work to be done.

Your support makes our work possible. Every donation helps provide period products to those in need, keeping students in school and creating a more confident, supported community.

We are committed to working closely with our partners to ensure we make a significant impact in the lives of those struggling. Together, we can end period poverty and help every individual feel worthy.

Thank you for being part of this change!

Stay up to date with what's happening at Jake's NOH!

With Gratitude,

Kate Gargo
