At 3 Generations, our mission is to provide a vital platform for victims of sex trafficking to tell their stories. We continue to demand that sex trafficking be recognized as human rights abuse. Over the past twelve years, we’ve created over twenty videos, three award-winning short films, and a feature documentary, Tricked, about the horrors and nuances of sex trafficking. These films provided a platform for survivors and educate viewers about the truths behind trafficking.

Sex trafficking remains one of the world's fastest-growing crimes and a multi-billion dollar industry. It may seem impossible to enact change, especially at an individual level. 3G encourages our viewers to advocate for survivors of trafficking and stay informed. Here are some ways YOU can help end sex trafficking:

  • Learn the signs of trafficking, the questions to ask, and the resources you can provide.
  • If you know someone trafficked, please call your country's hotline. In the United States, the 24-hour National Human Trafficking Hotline is 1-888-373-7888.
  • Utilize social media and other public platforms to educate yourself and your peers.
  • Volunteer with or find ways you can support local anti-trafficking organizations.
  • Recognize the complexity of trafficking and its history.
  • Understand that a survivor's story doesn't end with their rescue.
  • Remember, you are not alone in this mission.

Despite the atrocities they face, survivors of sex trafficking have found empowerment, courage, and a voice. Even beyond our documentation of them, our subjects continue to share their experience and advocate for the end of sex trafficking. We will always stand by them. Although these human rights abuses remain in the shadows, at 3 Generations, we will continue to advocate for sex trafficking survivors, document their truth, and demand change. Together, we can make a difference.
