SAI staff continuously works closely with partners to rescue and care for injured and sick wild animals. In August, SAI partner's rescued a hawk that was found injured. The hawk had a broken wing, It was taken to the facility and received the necessary treatment and medication. Presently, the hawk has been returned to its natural habitat in the forest.
The SAI team is delivering food and medicine to zoos. The zoos receive fruits, vegetables, and meat. We have delivered over 1,810 pounds of food during the past three months:
