Ending violence on Tribe Women and girl

We have conducted the programme from 5^th Feb-2020 to 22^nd March 2020 and then present Covid-19 lockdown period since 24^th March 2020, we are pausing the program.

During the pervious to lockdown. Ms.Pappa is a tribe woman living in Palani hills and their forefathers have been habituating since the ancient period. Upper caste and outside people with forest department people are involving in the exploitation. Traditional and customary rights are refused and so they are being exploited in all mater from MFP collection and welfare scheme adoption. Our girl and women are facing severe exploitation and abuses into remote forest. Now we are under the following training.

We are now conducting relief, counseling and Covid-19 prevention program in the area. However is being, the program is to be started shortly if lockdown is being relaxed step by step and expected to be relaxed fully.

Now we are trained in human right and women right. Skill training on MFP processing we are also involving in self defense. ROSI foundation has provided economical / income generation support for the businesses of honey bee making, goat rearing, MFP etc.
