During this COVID-19 lockdown, we have paused the programme but it is now running since 1st September 1020. Ms.Lakshmi is a tribe woman living in Kudiraiyarudam settlement, Palani hills and their forefathers have been habituating since the ancient period. Tribal people are having MFP as main livelihoods which has been giving survival.
Traditional and customary rights are refused and so they are being exploited in all mater from MFP collection and welfare scheme adoption. Tribal girl and women are facing severe exploitation and abuses into remote forest. Now we are making the following training for 200, Skill training on MFP processing and rights based empowerment training on human rights and women rights are implemented effectively.
Skill training on MFP processing gives good survival and family holding. ROSI foundation has provided economical / income generation support for the businesses of honey bee making, goat rearing, MFP etc. they are free of abuse and exploitation. No one can threat and exploit them in future.
We are heartily thanking you for your generous support in the environmental development works. This project is running in territory, mountain, ocean and forest ecosystems.
