By Francesca Pellegatta | Junior Project Manager
Dear Donors,
with this report we would like to make all of you part of our monitoring trip! Our country manager will finally come back to Lubumbashi where our efforts in favor of children with disabilities have never stopped. The Balou Center hosts vulnerable children considered dangerous by the community and their families because of their disability, providing them with a safe place to grow.
This summer our country leader will finally visit the south of the Democratic Republic of Congo and will monitor the development of our project. All the work done up to now has made it possible to reach our goal: installing a photovoltaic system. It will allow a constant availability of enough electricity, which is now available just for one hour a day.
Thanks to your support, a container will be sent in July and all the panels will reach Lubumbashi, ready for the installation by our local operations. We will guarantee the necessary energy, which will be useful to assure a quality service to out children. We would like to always improve our activities and your support would be fundamental. Continue to be part of this change!
Thank you
