Equipping Hands for Effective Communication

Dear Partners,

We are grateful for the continued support. Even before the onset of a global pandemic, deaf children were grappling with rapid, disoriented change. The COVID-19 3^rd wave, with its public health emergency and economic and social crises, has reshaped how development priorities work.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic 3^rd wave and Kenya deteriorating economic situation has pushed many of those most vulnerable even deeper into extreme poverty. Many deaf people have reported having lost their informal daily wages, and now face severe levels of food insecurity.

Families are reporting skipping meals and Kenya is once again on the brink of famine. Imagine a school without children,  learning, a child without love.
