Project Summary Report – Empowering 200 Girls in Kyangwali, Uganda

Reporting Period: July – October 2025
Organization: Hope for Children’s Health Foundation
Goal: $6,000 | Raised: $4,374 | Remaining: $1,626 | Beneficiaries: 200 girls

Overview

The project continues to uplift girls in Kyangwali village by providing access to education, nutrition, and healthcare. Since its launch, it has supported over 160 girls with school materials, daily meals, and health services. These efforts are helping to reduce dropout rates and early marriages while improving the girls’ confidence and future prospects.

Key Highlights

  • Education: 200 school kits distributed; attendance rose from 62% to 81%.
  • Nutrition: Daily lunch program feeding 160+ girls; malnutrition reduced by 18%.
  • Healthcare: Monthly check-ups, menstrual hygiene training, and HIV/AIDS awareness.
  • Community Engagement: 3 teachers trained in gender-sensitive teaching methods.

  • Increased school retention and participation.
  • Improved health and nutrition for vulnerable girls.
  • Strengthened community awareness on girls’ rights and education.
