Bringing our crowd closer

Dear Supporter

La Serenissima has been busy making new album Crossing Borders (music by Brescianello, Telemann, Sieber, Shreyfogel, Vivaldi) and preparing for the release of our Tartini album - recorded some time ago now! Cover ideas are being finalised for this recording now, but it's likely to be something hot & spicy.

We are excited to round off our year of music-making at London's Wigmore Hall - we hope to see many of our supporters there for Vivaldi's Four Seasons and a host of Christmas works by Italian baroque composers you may not know so well.

Look out for Unlocked - the second volume of Brescianello's Opus 1 which is available to buy / stream since the end of October.

As the calendar year comes to a close, we have decided to close our fundraising activities on GlobalGiving. This is because we need to focus our time and energy on the most effective fundraising routes for the organisation & we feel increasingly unable to make the most of the GlobalGiving platform and to respond to donors in a timely way. Monitoring one bank account & website feels like the best use of our limited resources at the moment and will also reduce the amount of currency lost in conversion rates & platform fees. We hope that you will understand the motivation for this move and be happy to support us directly in the future.

La Serenissima continues to welcome donations of any size! If you would be happy to donate a small amount to the charity each month, please contact camilla@laserenissima.co.uk and we will be happy to provide further information.

We are preparing for our 30th Anniversary Season in 2024-2025 and hope to keep growing our crowd of supporters to enable us to deliver all the wonderful research, performance & outreach that we have in the pipeline.

Thank you for joining us on our crowdfunding journey, we are grateful to have your support so please stay with us!

Camilla & Adrian
