Project Report | Dec 22, 2014
Dear Santa... Thank you for our wonderful donors!

By Anne-Sophie | Marketing Manager

Dear Donors,

How are you doing since the last report? Here at DAKTARI, days are full of joy and we go from one surprise to another! The end of the year is around the corner, so let’s finish 2014 off with a bang! :)

DAKTARI is so grateful for all that you have done so far to help the underprivileged children attend our environmental program for a week. If you could see the smiles on their faces when they interact with the animals, learn to take care of them, feed them. Or when they are with the volunteers, learning about environment, tourism and job opportunities, visiting a Game Logde. This is so heart warming to see how much more polite and respectuful they are by the end of the week. Hearing them saying that they will never forget DAKTARI and what they have learnt is evidence of their appreciation.

I received a message from a student who came at DAKTARI a year ago:

“Hi Daktari! How is Daktari doing? I just wanna tell you that the tree (nam nam tree) that you gave me last year, is growing well and i will always give that tree water because is making me to remember Daktari :-):-):-). One last thing: feed Maxi well because i love Maxi too much. I would like to thank you Daktari for everything you did to me. I wish you all the best as we are going to year of 2015. Enjoy the rest of your day!!!” (Relius, 16)

For Christmas, join DAKTARI in offering the children a special festive season! They have been soooo good this year, so trust me, they really diserve the opportunity to visit us! DAKTARI relies on your generosity! Please donate to our project, share the link on your social media or via email, speak about it to your friends and encourage them to join our cause.

For a memorable Christmas, you can also make a donation on behalf of someone special, and DAKTARI will send you a virtual gift recipient via email to give to them. Don’t miss this great last-minute gift idea and hit the following link: http://www.globalgiving.org/microprojects/christmas-gift-sponsor-an-animal/ ! :)

A warm and huge THANK YOU,

DAKTARI wishes you a wonderful Christmas and a joyous New Year.
