This project will provide 500 nursing students from rural Nigerian communities with digital learning tablets preloaded with medical textbooks, clinical guidelines, and offline training resources. Many students lack access to up-to-date materials due to poverty and limited infrastructure. These tablets will strengthen their education, improve exam performance, and prepare competent healthcare workers to serve vulnerable communities.
Many nursing students in rural Nigeria study without current textbooks, internet access, or digital tools. Printed medical books are expensive and often outdated. This limits exam success, clinical knowledge, and patient safety skills. Without access to quality learning materials, students struggle academically and graduate underprepared to serve communities facing high maternal mortality, infectious diseases, and healthcare shortages.
We will provide 500 nursing students with durable tablets preloaded with updated nursing textbooks, WHO clinical guidelines, past exam questions, and offline video tutorials. Students will also receive basic digital literacy support. This ensures equal access to modern medical knowledge, improves exam performance, strengthens clinical competence, and builds a new generation of digitally empowered nurses.
By equipping 500 nursing students with digital tools, we will strengthen healthcare delivery in underserved communities. Graduates will provide safer maternal care, better infection control, and improved patient education. Over time, this project will help reduce preventable deaths, bridge the healthcare knowledge gap, and build a digitally skilled health workforce across rural Nigeria.
