Dear donors,
We sincerely thank you for your donations and the hope you are helping bring to children facing cancer. Your support is making education possible for those who might otherwise be left behind.
In Nigeria, over 10,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year, yet fewer than 20% can access safe learning environments while receiving treatment. Many children miss school due to long hospital stays, fatigue, or stigma from peers, putting their academic progress at risk and leaving them socially isolated.
This project will set up special learning spaces in hospitals and rural treatment centers for 300 children. These spaces will include books, digital learning tools, comfortable furniture, and trained facilitators who can guide lessons based on school curricula. By bringing education into care settings, children can continue learning and stay connected to their peers.
Your donations will help maintain academic growth, boost confidence, and reduce the risk of school dropout for children undergoing treatment. Structured learning also gives families reassurance that illness does not mean the end of their child’s education.
Currently, the funds raised are not yet sufficient to start implementation
To our prospective donors, thank you for considering support. Your contribution can help a child stay on track with learning even while fighting cancer.
With thanks,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
