Every Child Has a Story: Meet "Amina"
"I want to become a teacher one day." That is what "Amina" (name changed for privacy), one of the children supported through our education project, told our team after returning to school.
Like many conflict-displaced children in Nasarawa State, Amina's education was interrupted when her family fled violence. With no income and no means to pay school fees, her dream of becoming a teacher was slowly fading. Thanks to generous supporters like you, GoGreen was able to cover her tuition, allowing her to return to class with confidence. Her parents also received a small cash gift, helping them meet immediate household needs while keeping their daughter in school.
For Amina, this support meant far more than financial assistance. It restored hope. Sadly, there are many more children just like her. Every week, we meet families desperately trying to keep their children in school despite overwhelming hardship.
As the next school term approaches, we hope to extend this support to many more vulnerable children by providing school fees, uniforms, books, backpacks, and learning materials.
Your gift today could be the reason another child refuses to give up on their dreams.
Thank you for helping children like Amina believe that their future is still possible.
