Dear Donor

It has been more than a year since we started the joint Project between Puerta Abierta and Global Giving. We would like to thank the generosity of all the individuals who have believed in the development and progress of these 9 young ladies living in Puerta Abierta.

We are sure that this year´s achievement has left an important imprint both in the girls as well as in each one of you.

We are aware that an educational project cannot be finished in one year. Education is a multi-faceted phenomenon, one that is continual and never-ending. With the support, work and generosity of many individuals, like you, we will continue to invest in the future of the girls of Puerta Abierta.

As a consequence of the benevolence and kindness of the people who visit Global Giving web-site, and its fund-raising program, we have been able to continue for an additional five months and finally we have fully funded this project.

Once again, we would like to thank you all for your faith in and support of our program at Puerta Abierta.

You can review the progress of the academic performance of the 9 girls in the “Evaluation of the Academic Year 2012- 2013“. We are pleased to see they did a very good job and we will keep them motivated to keep on.

We will be posting a new project soon in order to build the home for them, we are very exited as we will finally have our own home! We will be in touch soon!
