Child Sponsorship program for orphans

The Child Sponsorship Program for Education has made a significant and lasting impact on the lives of the children and families involved. Through the dedication of sponsors and the commitment of the program team, vulnerable children gained access to quality education, restored hope, and new opportunities for a brighter future. Continued support will help even more children break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential.

The main objectives of the Child Sponsorship Program were to:

• Provide financial and material support for school fees, uniforms, books, and learning supplies.
• Improve children’s academic performance and school attendance.
• Reduce the burden on families who face financial hardship.
• Promote long-term empowerment by helping children stay in school and pursue their dreams.
• Build strong relationships between sponsors, children, and their families.

Challenges Faced

Despite its success, the program encountered several challenges:

• Rising school fees and cost of educational supplies
• Families facing additional hardships that required extra support
• Limited resources to meet growing demand from other children

Our children are currently on school holidays, and we have engaged them in a variety of enriching activities such as beadwork, painting, and sports. We also have a week-long mentorship program and camp planned. These programs not only keep the children active but also provide opportunities for learning, personal growth, and improved behaviour and performance.

We sincerely thank you for standing with vulnerable children. Your support and commitment have enabled many of them to achieve their goals and break the cycle of poverty.
