In the month of August 2020, Muwakhat Foundation distributed dry ration to 33 poor families affected during covid-19. Number of families increased by 69% with support of genrous donors. Ultimate purpose to save families who lost their daily wages income during covid-19 from starvation, Also Cash was given to cover home expenses.
Muwakhat Foundation registered homeless families for provide food, saftey toolkit covis-19, cash, medicines, Fresh cooked food, warm clothes, blankets and school fees for children.
This help continued until head of family start earn consistent and secure income to feed family. Muwakhat is going to help daily wages earner for startup small business range between US$ 60 to US$120.
Muwakhat will do shift from labour to own business to daily wager in phases and in phase I, 20 families shall startup cart of fresh vegetable of fruit. They shall earn average US$ 9 per day by sell fresh vegetable or fruit at cart. In Pakisan Daily wages average earn from factory between US$3 to US$ 5 which is very low compare to earn from own work.
