By Margie Grainger | Vice President Hand to hand Foundation
All over the world these are desperate times for so many and in Pattaya, Thailand there are 1000's of people needing the basic essentials to feed their families. Every week the Hand to Hand Foundation has been giving approximately 1000 care packs of food with rice, tins of fish, oil, fish sauce, noodles and salt. In addition to this we are cooking approximately 350 cooked meals to distribute. The plight of the elderly and disabled is even more dire as they simply cannot go out and join the long lines to receive food. Providing protein powders, milk and soft food to these people has also become one of our priorities.
We are so thankful to everyone who gives so we can go. Without your support we could not help this many people.
Some people have moved back to rural country areas to live with extended families which has also placed a big strain on them as many of these areas are currently in drought. With poor crop harvests, no work every little bit helps.
Thank you so much!
