Dear friend,
Thank you for your gift to feed hungry school children in India. Your gift provides a starving child living in poverty with a healthy meal. You helped to feed 200 children with a school meal.
Many children in the villages come from poor families, and their parents are unable to feed them or send them to school. When they come to school, their stomachs are empty and it makes it very hard to focus in class. Sometimes the children skip school and work in the fields to earn some money instead of attending classes.
But your gift feeds children like Devi and gives them an opportunity to receive healthy and satisfying school lunches.
Devi comes from a very poor family who has struggled a lot to make ends meet. Her father is a rickshaw puller and her mother is bed ridden so she cannot do any work. The money which her father earns as a rickshaw puller is not even enough to feed him, his wife and kids.
Thankfully, Devi is attending one of our schools, which provides her with a nutritious meal every day. She is able to focus in class and she doesn't need to miss school in order to work and provide for her family. Her family feels so happy that their child is not only receiving food but also an education. They are excited to send their daughter to school because they know she is learning and growing so much.
Thank you for your support. You are feeding children like Devi with nutritious meals every day.
Sincerely,
John Sparks
