Your generosity during the GlobalGiving "Little by Little" campaign enabled us to raise nearly one-third of our $12,500 target. Reaching our goal will give us the resources to feed our students during the coming academic year.
One of our students, Moses, has struggled his entire life with being rejected by family members and the pangs of food insecurity. His biological parents separated when he was young so he was raised by his grandparents who he always thought were his "born ma and born pa". Due to health problems, only his grandmother was able to earn "small money" selling roasted peanuts so food was scarce. They both died when Moses was around 12 years old. Then an uncle came and kicked Moses out of the house. Again, he struggled to find food.
As a student at GLTC, Moses relies on his school lunch to be the only meal he eats each day. Your generosity is making this possible for Moses and hundreds of other children in this community. Thank you and please consider another gift or share this link with a friend (https://goto.gg/68221).
