Rescuing Leftover Cuisine is reaching even more communities across the country by building exciting new partnerships with companies eager to be part of our mission.

These bridges we’re building mean less food wasted and more direct support for those who face food insecurity. And this growth wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our donors.

We can’t thank you enough.

RLC wrapped up 2025 with some inspiring wins...

• We diverted a total of 3.9 MILLION pounds of food that could have been sent to landfill
• We deepened relationships with corporate volunteering groups, including major companies such as Amazon, Apollo, and CHEQ
• We saw major growth in large-scale donations from food retailers (shout out to Sprout Organics in Ohio for being an indispensable large-scale donation partner!)
• Over 9 million pounds of carbon dioxide emissions were kept out of the atmosphere

As of the new year, we...

• Welcomed fantastic new corporate partnerships including Ark Foods, Instacart, SeatGeek, and Idealist
• Expanded operations into a record high of 23 states across the country
• Started working with NYC City Council Districts to increase awareness of our mission, with more city government collaboration on the horizon
• Rescued 422,351 pounds of food in just the first 2 months of 2026!

Looking ahead, food insecurity remains a growing challenge for many households and individuals as prices increase. RLC is committed not only to filling the nutrient gaps that millions of people face but also to bringing them joy through delicious meals. We’re thrilled to share this recent comment from an NYC Food Pantry Coordinator:

“Through our partnership with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, our food pantry has been receiving about 150 pounds of high-quality baked goods each week for the past two and a half years. Our clients love these items because our food packages transform from survival supplies into something more special.”
