Challenge

Nigeria is experiencing one of the world's largest hunger crises. The United Nations estimates that 35 million Nigerians could face acute food insecurity during the lean season, while 6.4 million children are at risk of acute malnutrition. Conflict, displacement, economic hardship, and climate shocks have forced countless families from their homes and farms, leaving them without reliable access to food, clean water, or income. Solution

HopeShield Humanitarian Foundation will provide emergency food baskets, nutritious meals, fortified nutrition for children, and essential household supplies to displaced and conflict-affected families across Nigeria. Working closely with community leaders and local volunteers, we will identify the most vulnerable households, including families with young children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, older persons, and people living with disabilities.

Long-Term Impact

This project will help reduce hunger, prevent malnutrition, and improve the health and well-being of vulnerable families affected by conflict and displacement. Beyond emergency relief, HopeShield Humanitarian Foundation will connect communities with nutrition education, livelihood recovery opportunities, and resilience-building initiatives that strengthen long-term food security.
