Hunger has become a daily struggle for many families in Karamoja as prolonged drought, crop failure, and poverty continue to undermine household food security. Families who have lost their harvests are often left without sufficient food or income to meet their basic needs.
This project offers a two-part solution: urgent assistance for families in crisis and practical support for long-term recovery. We will provide emergency food and nutrition assistance, prioritizing vulnerable children and pregnant mothers. We will also support climate-smart farming practices that can help households restore food production and become better prepared for future droughts.
