Thousands of vulnerable families in Karamoja are facing severe hunger after prolonged drought and crop failure disrupted their ability to produce and purchase food. Poverty makes recovery even more difficult, leaving children and pregnant mothers especially vulnerable.
This project will provide emergency food assistance to households in greatest need while offering nutrition support to children and pregnant mothers. We will also promote climate-smart farming practices that can help families rebuild food production, strengthen livelihoods, and become more resilient to future droughts.
