Prolonged drought and repeated crop failures have left many families in Karamoja struggling to find enough food. For households already living in poverty, depleted harvests can quickly become a devastating crisis, particularly for children and pregnant mothers.
This project will provide emergency food assistance to vulnerable households while delivering nutrition support to children and pregnant mothers. We will also help families strengthen their livelihoods through climate-smart farming practices that can improve food production and reduce vulnerability to future droughts.
