Drought can take away more than a harvest—it can take away a family's food, income, and sense of security. In Karamoja, prolonged dry conditions and crop failure are placing vulnerable households under enormous pressure.
This project will provide emergency food assistance to families struggling with severe hunger and targeted nutritional support to children and pregnant mothers. We will also help households embrace climate-smart farming techniques that can improve agricultural productivity and strengthen resilience to future droughts.
