For children in Karamoja, hunger is more than an empty stomach—it threatens their growth, health and future.
The latest regional assessment projects that approximately 122,100 children aged 6–59 months could suffer acute malnutrition between March 2026 and February 2027, including more than 30,000 severe cases.
