Karamoja's families have endured repeated climate shocks that have weakened food production and household resilience. In 2026, prolonged dry conditions and poor harvests have deepened food insecurity across the region.
Government emergency food distribution began in July, initially delivering maize flour and beans to severely affected communities. Yet the scale of the crisis means additional support is urgently needed.
Our campaign seeks donors who can help vulnerable families access food and nutrition assistance while communities work toward recovery.
