Children in Karamoja are facing a growing struggle to access the nutritious food they need to grow, learn, and remain healthy. Prolonged drought and unreliable rainfall have damaged harvests, reduced food availability, and placed additional pressure on families already struggling to meet their daily needs. When households cannot produce enough food or afford what is available in local markets, children are among the first to suffer.
The Girl Child Foundation Uganda (GIFU) is appealing to compassionate donors and well-wishers to stand with vulnerable families across Karamoja. Support can help mobilize resources for emergency food assistance, nutrition support for vulnerable children, and longer-term solutions that strengthen household food security.
Your contribution, whatever its size, can help turn concern into meaningful action. A donation of $10 can be part of a collective effort to help families facing this difficult situation.
Please join GIFU in raising awareness and mobilizing the resources needed to protect children from the devastating effects of hunger. Together, we can help restore hope and create opportunities for Karamoja’s children to grow up healthier, safer, and better prepared for the future.
