Support Hungry Families and Children in Egypt

By Salah Kamal | Founder & President

Campaign Status Overview:
• Goal: $15,000
• Funds Raised: $313 (2.1% of target)
• Number of Donors: 3
• Remaining: $14,687 (97.9% remaining)
Progress Update:
During this reporting quarter, A A Relief (American Aid) has made meaningful progress in our mission to address food insecurity among vulnerable families and children in Egypt. We welcomed an additional generous donor who contributed $200, bringing our total funding to $313 from 3 compassionate supporters. While we remain in the early stages of fundraising, we've continued strengthening our foundation for immediate food relief delivery.
Egypt's economic crisis continues to intensify, with nearly 30% of the population living below the poverty line and food prices skyrocketing. Our team has maintained active partnerships with local food suppliers and community leaders, positioning us to provide daily hot, nutritious meals to families facing severe hunger and malnutrition.
Implementation Readiness Achieved:
• Completed comprehensive mapping of highest-need areas across Egypt
• Established verified partnerships with local food suppliers and kitchens
• Developed cost-effective meal planning strategies for maximum nutrition
• Created robust beneficiary verification protocols to reach most vulnerable families
• Built strong relationships with community leaders for effective distribution
• Negotiated bulk purchasing agreements to optimize resource allocation
Challenges & Strategic Response:
The primary challenge remains securing adequate funding to begin daily meal distributions. With 2.1% of our goal achieved, we're addressing this through:
• Enhanced documentation of Egypt's escalating food crisis (30% poverty rate)
• Strengthened community partnerships for grassroots outreach
• Optimized meal planning to serve maximum families per dollar donated
• Developed compelling case studies highlighting children going to bed hungry
Looking Forward:
Despite funding challenges, our commitment to Egypt's hungry families remains unwavering. We stand ready to implement immediate food relief:
• Daily hot, nutritious meals for vulnerable families and children
• Targeted support for families most affected by the economic crisis
• Nutrition education programs to maximize health outcomes
• Community kitchen operations for sustainable meal distribution
• Monitoring systems to ensure food quality and consistent access
Every contribution brings us closer to ensuring no child in Egypt goes to bed hungry. Through our "Generosity Builds Hope" mission, we're building resilience and fostering long-term food security that will break the cycle of poverty for countless families.
Warmly,
The American Aid (A A Relief ) Team
