  • Campaign Phase: Active Fundraising & Meal-Delivery Readiness

Dear GlobalGiving Community,

Thank you for your compassion and for standing with families in Egypt who are facing hunger under a worsening economic crisis. With food prices rising and nearly 30% of the population living below the poverty line, many parents are being forced to reduce meals, skip meals, or send children to bed hungry.

Through American Aid (A A Relief), this project is designed to provide daily hot, nutritious meals to vulnerable families and childrenoffering food, hope, and stability during a critical period.

Progress Update (This Quarter)

This quarter, we welcomed an additional donor, bringing the campaign to 4 donors. Based on the current campaign totals, we have raised $627 toward our $15,000 goal.

While we remain in the early stage of fundraising, we used this period to strengthen operational readiness so we can deliver food relief quickly and responsibly as support grows. Key progress included:

  • Maintaining verified coordination with local food suppliers and community contacts
  • Continuing refinement of cost-effective meal planning to maximize nutrition per dollar
  • Strengthening beneficiary verification protocols to prioritize the most vulnerable families and children
  • Improving documentation and reporting processes to ensure transparent updates for donors

Community Need & Why This Project Matters

The need remains urgent:

  • Families are struggling to afford basic food due to inflation and economic instability.
  • Children are at increased risk of malnutrition and related health complications.
  • Hunger directly impacts school attendance, learning, and long-term development.

This project exists to ensure that vulnerable children and families have consistent access to nutritious mealsand that no child is left to face hunger alone.

Program Model (What Funding Will Deliver)

As funding grows, American Aid (A A Relief) will provide:

  • Daily hot, nutritious meals for vulnerable families and children
  • Targeted support for households most affected by the economic crisis
  • Community-based distribution through trusted local partners
  • Monitoring and documentation to ensure food quality, consistency, and accountability

Challenges & Strategic Response

Primary Challenge: Funding is still far below what is needed to begin daily meal distributions at the intended scale.

Our response this quarter:

  • Strengthening documentation of the escalating food crisis to support outreach
  • Expanding community partnerships for grassroots identification and distribution readiness
  • Optimizing meal planning to serve the maximum number of families per dollar donated
  • Improving reporting systems to build donor confidence through transparency

Next Quarter Plan (Pending Funding)

In the next quarter, as donations increase, we will:

  1. Finalize priority beneficiary lists through community verification.
  2. Begin phased meal distributions as soon as funding allows.
  3. Share clear reporting on outputs (meals provided, families supported) and early outcomes (reduced hunger barriers, improved stability).

Expected Long-Term Impact

With consistent support, this project will:

  • Reduce hunger and malnutrition among vulnerable children and families
  • Improve physical health and well-being through reliable nutrition
  • Strengthen family stability during economic hardship
  • Contribute to breaking cycles of poverty by supporting healthier, more resilient households

Thank you for your compassion and solidarity. Every donation brings us closer to ensuring that families in Egypt have reliable access to nutritious mealsand that no child goes to bed hungry.

With gratitude,

The American Aid (A A Relief) Team IRS-registered 501(c)(3)  all donations are tax-deductible
