Dear Supporters,
Young people are central to the future of every community, but food insecurity can limit their ability to learn, work, lead, and contribute. Youth facing hunger may struggle with education, skills training, job readiness, and emotional well-being.
Across northern Nigeria, many young people live in households affected by rising food prices, poverty, displacement, and limited livelihood opportunities. When families lack food security, youth may be forced to focus on survival instead of personal development and future planning.
Nutrition supports energy, concentration, confidence, and productivity. Food-secure youth are better positioned to pursue education, vocational training, entrepreneurship, and community leadership.
Empower Future Initiative believes that youth empowerment must include attention to basic needs. A young person cannot fully build a future while facing daily hunger.
Strengthening food security helps unlock youth potential and supports long-term community development.
Best wishes,
Empower Future Initiative Team
