Feed Hungry Families in Northern Nigeria Crisis

Dear Donors,

Children should not have to carry the burden of household food insecurity, yet hunger can deeply affect children's daily lives when families lack sufficient resources.

Empower Future Initiative's emergency food relief response is helping vulnerable households access essential food supplies, with particular attention to families caring for children and adolescents.

Providing food assistance helps caregivers meet immediate household needs and can contribute to a more stable environment for children. When food is available at home, children can eat before school, families can reduce the pressure of daily food purchases, and scarce income may be redirected toward other necessities.

Our humanitarian response is therefore part of a broader commitment to child wellbeing and family resilience.

We are grateful to the GlobalGiving community for supporting this work. Every donor who contributes is helping EFI reach households that are experiencing food insecurity and hardship.

However, many children remain part of families that need assistance. We want to continue expanding our response so that more vulnerable households can receive food support during difficult periods.

We invite donors, foundations, companies, and humanitarian partners to help us continue this work.

A contribution today can help provide food for a family and support an environment where children can continue learning, growing, and hoping for a better future.

Best wishes,
Empower Future Initiative Team
