Dear Donors,
Parents experiencing food insecurity often carry a heavy responsibility. They must find ways to feed children, pay for essential household needs, and protect their families even when income is unstable or opportunities are limited.
Empower Future Initiative's emergency food assistance provides a helping hand to some of these households.
By providing essential food items, we help caregivers meet immediate needs without having to shoulder the entire burden alone. This support can be particularly meaningful for households headed by widows and families affected by displacement.
We are grateful to GlobalGiving donors whose contributions have enabled EFI to reach vulnerable families with humanitarian assistance.
Our goal is not simply to provide food once. We want to build a sustained local humanitarian response capable of reaching families when they face acute hardship.
Additional donor support can help us expand food distributions and reach more households experiencing hunger.
For a parent struggling to provide a meal, a food package can be a moment of relief. For a child, it can mean going to bed with a full stomach and waking up with renewed energy.
