Feed Hungry Families in Northern Nigeria Crisis

For families living on limited incomes, food expenses can consume a large portion of available resources. When hunger intensifies, households may be forced to make painful choices.

Emergency food assistance can help reduce some of that pressure.

Through its humanitarian response, Empower Future Initiative provides essential food items to vulnerable households experiencing food insecurity. The objective is to help families meet immediate food needs while preserving scarce resources for other necessities.

This is particularly important for displaced families, widow-headed households, and caregivers responsible for children and adolescents.

When a household receives food assistance, a caregiver may have a little more flexibility to address another urgent need. That flexibility can matter enormously when resources are limited.
