Dear Partners,
Food insecurity can create pressures that reach into a child's education.
When families struggle to afford food, education-related expenses can become difficult to maintain. Children may experience hunger during school hours, miss classes, or face interruptions as households prioritize immediate survival needs.
Empower Future Initiative's emergency food assistance is designed to help reduce some of this pressure for vulnerable families.
By providing essential food supplies, we help caregivers meet immediate household needs. This can create greater room for families to focus on children's education, well-being, and development.
Our response therefore connects humanitarian aid with child well-being and education support.
We are thankful to GlobalGiving donors whose contributions have helped EFI reach families experiencing food insecurity. Your support is helping create conditions in which children can face their daily lives with greater stability and dignity.
There are still many families struggling to maintain both food security and education.
Additional donor support can help us reach more households with emergency food assistance and strengthen our ability to protect children's well-being during periods of hardship.
A family with food on the table has one less immediate crisis to face. For a child, that can make a meaningful difference.
Best wishes,
Empower Future Initiative Team
