Dear Donors,
A food package may appear simple, but for a family facing hunger, it can represent a profound moment of hope.
Empower Future Initiative has seen how vulnerable households respond when essential food assistance reaches them. Relief becomes visible in the faces of caregivers who know they can prepare meals for their families. Children can eat. Parents can breathe a little easier.
Our emergency food assistance is supporting households affected by food insecurity, displacement, poverty, and difficult economic circumstances.
We are especially grateful to GlobalGiving donors who have helped turn generosity into tangible humanitarian relief.
The work reminds us that hope is not always something abstract. Sometimes hope arrives in a bag of rice, a supply of Garri, or essential food items placed into the hands of a family.
But one distribution cannot meet every need.
Many vulnerable households continue to face food insecurity, and we want to reach more of them. Additional donor support can help EFI expand emergency food relief and strengthen community-based humanitarian response.
