Feed Hungry Families in Northern Nigeria Crisis

Dear Partners,

Imagine beginning each day without knowing where your household's next safe supply of drinking water will come from. For many rural families, water collection can become a daily challenge that affects health, education, household responsibilities, and livelihoods.

Our Clean Water & Wells project is focused on helping 5,000 rural villagers gain improved access to safe and sustainable water sources. The project will support appropriate water infrastructure such as boreholes and water-point rehabilitation while strengthening community participation, hygiene education, and local management.

Every family deserves access to water that is safe for drinking and everyday domestic use. Clean water can reduce the pressure created by unreliable or distant water sources and can help communities build healthier routines.

Women and girls often carry a significant share of household water responsibilities. When water points are located closer to communities, the time required for collection can be reduced, allowing more time for education, childcare, farming, income-generating activities, and other priorities.

Children also stand to benefit from improved WASH conditions. Schools and households need safe water to support hygiene, handwashing, sanitation, and healthier daily routines.

This project is therefore about more than constructing water infrastructure. It is about supporting a healthier and more resilient rural community environment.

We invite donors, partners, families, community groups, and friends of Nigeria to join us in this effort. Your contribution can help finance the infrastructure, materials, community engagement, hygiene promotion, and sustainability measures required to expand clean water access.

With collective support, 5,000 villagers can move closer to a future where safe water is available within their communities.

Best wishes,
