Providing food to children aged 5 to 12 who are living in vulnerable conditions is essential to ensuring their growth and overall development. At this stage of life, the body requires proper nutrition to strengthen the immune system, support brain development, and provide the energy needed for daily activities. Poor nutrition at these ages can lead to learning delays, low academic performance, and health problems that could affect them for a lifetime.
In addition, providing meals to children in vulnerable situations helps reduce inequality and break the cycle of poverty. When a child has at least one nutritious meal a day guaranteed, their family can allocate their limited resources to other essential needs such as education, housing, or healthcare. This not only improves their immediate quality of life but also opens opportunities for a more stable and dignified future.
Finally, this contribution is not only an act of material assistance but also a profound gesture of care and hope. When children receive food, they feel valued and realize there are people and communities willing to support them. This sense of belonging and protection has a positive impact on their self-esteem and emotional well-being, reinforcing the belief that they can grow up in a safer environment full of possibilities.
Help us continue rescuing children from the grip of hunger and poverty
