Feed 100 children with malnutrition in Medellin

For 15 years, the Foundation has worked consistently and with deep commitment to the well-being of children, especially those living in vulnerable conditions. Throughout this journey, we have reached 1,306 children, providing comprehensive support, care, and opportunities for a better future.

Thanks to the support of partners and donors, we have delivered more than 360,000 meals, directly contributing to the healthy growth and the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children between the ages of 5 and 12. Proper nutrition at this stage of life is essential to strengthen the immune system, support brain development, and provide the energy needed for learning and daily activities. A lack of balanced nutrition can lead to learning delays, poor academic performance, and health problems that may affect children throughout their lives.

In addition, guaranteeing at least one nutritious meal per day helps reduce inequality and break the cycle of poverty. This allows families to allocate their limited resources to other essential needs such as education, housing, and healthcare, improving their quality of life and opening doors to a more stable and dignified future.

Over these years, the Foundation has also invested more than 5,000 days in the pursuit of peace, promoting values, safe environments, and support processes that strengthen coexistence, hope, and the protection of children.

Beyond material assistance, every meal delivered represents an act of love, care, and hope. When a child receives food, they feel valued and understood, realizing that there are people and communities willing to support them. This sense of belonging has a positive impact on their self-esteem and emotional well-being, reinforcing the belief that they can grow up in a safer environment full of opportunities.
