Feed 100 children with malnutrition in Medellin

I am José Manuel, I am 11 years old, I live in Medellin in the Libertad neighborhood.

My family is composed by: my stepfather Ruben, my mom Nancy, my brothers Juan Pablo of 8 years old and Emiliano of 2.

My mom is a housewife, and the only income for the sustainability of my home is the one my stepfather receives for construction work.

Sometimes, when he's out of work, we find ourselves in difficult times. What I do is pray to God for Him to help my stepfather Ruben to get a job quickly.
Because it is very sad to watch my younger brother search the pots, looking for something to drink.

They are the most valuable people in my life, they stand by me in every moment, no matter the cause.
I thank God for allowing me to be a part of this family.

I came to the TIEMPO DE PAZ FOUNDATION with my brother Juan Pablo 3 years ago.
When I arrived, I was not a very tolerant kid, aggressive, stubborn and didn't take any authority or norm.

In the Foundation I've learned that it is not only about the food they give us, but also that they teach us many things: to share, respect, accept norms, respect the authority, share with many kids.

And through the love they offered me, I am another person, and have faith that each day will be better. I've learned to ask for forgiveness and to forgive, to accept my mistakes, to obey, to acknowledge my obligations, to be more responsible, friendly and to respect others.

I give thanks to God, to every godparent and teachers who have helped me grow as a person and have poured into my process of change.
