Feed 100 children with malnutrition in Medellin

I'm WALTER

Father of VALERIA, ENMANUEL and KEVIN, who are 5, 7 and 10 and are studying in kindergarden, 1º and 2º grade respectively.
 
I lived with my wife for 12 years until we got separated due to a difference we had and I stayed with the kids. Since then, it's been really hard as I've had to be both a father and a mother to them.

I have to wake up very early so I can send them to school and leave a meal ready for when they return.

For a good while I was constantly worried and couldn't work properly, since there was no one to leave the kids with and they stayed alone at home; this situation was as hard for me as it was for my kids.

I heard about the Tiempo de Paz Foundation, since a mother who takes her girl there told me how good of a place it is and that they could help.

Since then, many things have changed for me and my kids, since I can now work with more ease.
I have felt very supported with homework, with the kids being fed, accompanied and safe.

The kids have told me how safe they feel, they are very happy with the way they are being treated and accompanied at the Foundation, and that they have made new friends there.

I feel very blessed for the opportunity they have given my children and myself, they really made my job as a father and mother much easier. I can now go to work with a greater calm and focus in raising my children.
