Feed The Children

JAAGO has gradually grown as an organization with the support from individuals like you and helped us continue this great initiative of eliminating poverty by quality education since 2007. Today, on the verge of our 12 years journey we have made a small effort to share our journey with you and let you be our judge. Till date, we have 3500 students from 12 districts of Bangladesh that have come from an economically disadvantaged background. JAAGO realized in Bangladesh, 30% of the overall population lives under the poverty line. In such a scenario, lack of proper food and under-nutrition in children has poor mental development and school achievements as well as behavioral abnormalities. Without the optimum health, children fail to discover their full potential and are unable to perform their best. Through “Feed the Children” project, 3500 underprivileged children at JAAGO School from the rural and marginalized communities of Bangladesh will be enriched with proper food and nutrition. Thus, each of them will be given the opportunity to explore through their maximum abilities.

The Burden of Insufficient Capacity of Proper Nutrition is Unacceptably High.

Malnutrition is a universal issue that no one in the world can afford to overlook. By addressing issues like malnutrition, JAAGO School will make sure that children are able to perform their best. Currently, JAAGO provides nutrition boost for only two days in a week which is not sufficient enough for growing children. Without proper nutrition, these children cannot reach their maximum abilities. Hence, the optimum health, children fail to discover their full potential and are unable to perform their best at school.

JAAGO Tries To Be A Better Equipped To End Malnutrition

Today, JAAGO provides nutrition to 500 children; however, more than 3000 children are still in need of nutrition. With the help of your support, JAAGO will able to provide nutritious food like egg, milk, banana and nutrition supplements to these 3500 children.

Since due to the lack of fund, we cannot provide nutrition food to 3500 students. Recently, Thrive which is an individual organization collaborating with JAAGO and supports our children. They are supporting 500 JAAGO students with Nutrition by providing foods twice a week.We are grateful that you came up to us to help and support these children. Your donation counts and JAAGO tries to provide food to other 3000 students.

Sharing Happiness with JAAGO Children

There are many well-wishers of these children who celebrate their important days with these children by spending the whole day with academic fun activities, provide good food and wishing these children for their good health and future. These celebrations happen only a few times in a year. Providing good food to these children on a daily basis is very challenging for JAAGO Foundation. Our well-wishers contribution on giving the right nutrition will provide them not only sustenance but also an opportunity for having nutrition boost on this growing stage of their life. Thus it will affect not only children's physical growth and health but also their psycho-social and emotional development. Moreover, they will be able to get the best extract from given education.
