Respected Donor,

Warm greetings from SERUDS, and we wish you and your loved ones a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year
As we step into the New Year, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your kindness and generosity in supporting the homeless and elderly through GlobalGiving. Your compassionate support is creating a meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of people who are often forgotten by society.

As part of our ongoing Zero Hunger Initiative, our dedicated staff and volunteers regularly come together to prepare and serve nutritious meals for homeless individuals. Our core mission is to ensure that no one goes to bed hungry. This initiative specifically reaches the most disadvantaged people living on roadsides, footpaths, bus stations, railway stations, parks, and community halls.

Many of these beneficiaries—including elderly persons and street children—face daily struggles of hunger, malnutrition, and homelessness. They survive in unsafe and unsanitary conditions, often without access to regular meals. Deeply moved by their plight, SERUDS made a firm commitment to feed at least 50 homeless individuals every day.

Each day, we serve wholesome and nourishing meals consisting of:

  • Steam-cooked rice

  • Pickles

  • Mixed vegetable curry

  • A portion of curd

  • Fresh fruits

These meals provide much more than nourishment—they bring relief, dignity, and hope. Many beneficiaries have shared their heartfelt gratitude, expressing how these meals have become a vital source of comfort and survival. Several have even requested that we continue this life-saving service, reaffirming the urgent need and importance of this initiative.

Our team, including committed volunteers and a dedicated cook, works tirelessly to prepare food in our kitchen and distribute meals across multiple public locations. Beyond food distribution, our volunteers take time to listen to personal stories, engage in meaningful conversations, and offer emotional support. This human connection is just as essential as the meal itself, reminding every individual that their lives matter and they are not forgotten.

Your sponsorship has been instrumental in making this service possible. With your continued support in the New Year, we hope to expand our outreach and reach even more homeless and elderly individuals in need.

Thank you once again for standing with SERUDS in this noble cause and for being a beacon of hope for the hungry and homeless. Together, we are building a kinder, more compassionate world.

With sincere gratitude and warm New Year wishes,

Team SERUDS
