EMPOWERNMENT PROGRAM UPDATE

Over the past four years, the Widows’ Empowerment Program has continued to be one of our most impactful initiatives. The transformation we've witnessed in the lives of the widows and their children has been truly remarkable. The difference is not only visible but deeply felt in the families and communities involved.

This year, 90 widows received agricultural inputs, including planting fertilizer (DAP), top-dressing fertilizer (CAN), and seeds. Notably, one group of 30 widows our first cohort purchased these inputs using their own savings, a major milestone demonstrating the program’s success in building self-reliance and financial discipline.

Through your support, these 90 women were directly empowered, while over 1,000 people including children and extended families have benefited indirectly. The harvest from this year will provide food security for all these households throughout the year. This incredible achievement would not have been possible without your unwavering support.

Looking ahead, we plan to bring in a new group of 30 widows next year. One of our current groups will be graduating from the program after completing their three-year cycle, making room for this new cohort. We will then have one continuing group and one newly enrolled group.

Your support is truly making a lasting impact, and we are deeply grateful for your commitment. As we aim to expand and reach even more widows, we face the challenge of limited resources. We humbly ask that you consider sharing our cause with your friends and family, helping us grow our donor community. With more support, we can empower more widows to care for their children within their homes preventing the need for institutional care.

Thank you once again for being part of this journey. Your prayers, encouragement, and generosity are transforming lives. We are truly grateful.
