SAI continues to provide food, medicine, and medical care to orphans in Venezuela. SAI has implemented a physical training program that has significantly improved the lives of the orphans. The physical training is increasing their mental and cognitive abilities, physical reaction time and physical fitness. This program has also has helped the orphans with stress related to the pandemic lockdowns.
SAI is providing fruits, vegetables, fish , chicken, eggs, pasta, arepa mix, rice, beans and more to the orphans. The orphans are receciving balanced nutritious meals. In addition, the orphans are recieving vitamin supplements.
In the past three months with help from GlobalGiving donors, SAI has provided the following: 8,972 meals.
SAI medical doctors provide quarterly check ups for the orphans. These checkups can detect any underlying medical issues and provide trestment for medical conditions that arise. In addition, SAI provides the orphans with hygenic supplies.
